Class day starts with too many unknowns.

01 · Lost Range Time

Paperwork steals the first hour.

Clipboards, incomplete fields, and last-minute signatures pull instructors away from safety briefings and students off the line.

02 · Eligibility Blind Spots

You may not know who is cleared.

An ID in hand does not provide a consistent, documented eligibility workflow, and finding out at check-in is already too late.

03 · Scattered Records

Proof lives in too many places.

Waivers, identity details, reminders, and roster notes end up split across inboxes, paper files, and individual instructors.

Purpose-built workflow

Less sensitive data. More usable signal.

The platform organizes the checks and documents instructors need without turning the roster into an investigative report.

Identity Verification

Mobile license capture confirms identity details and supports controlled-access recordkeeping workflows.

  • Document and selfie matching options
  • Data-quality and tamper signals
  • Configurable retention controls

Eligibility Screening

With participant consent, screen against configured criminal-record and sanctions sources, then return a simple status for instructor review.

  • Configurable jurisdiction coverage
  • Potential-match review workflow
  • Audit-ready decision trail

Digital Waiver Signing

Bundle the documents your course requires and collect signatures in the same participant flow.

FAQ

What operators need to know.

What does the instructor see?

By default, the instructor sees whether each participant has signed the required waiver packet and whether the configured screening workflow returned eligible, pending, or needs-review status. Access to underlying personal data should be limited by role.

Does the participant know a check is being run?

Yes. The experience can be brief and familiar, but participants should receive a clear disclosure and provide affirmative consent before screening. Concealing that step creates legal, trust, and dispute risk.

Does this guarantee ITAR compliance?

No software can guarantee compliance on its own. Shooter Metrics is positioned to support identity, documentation, and recordkeeping workflows. Operators should validate their exact obligations, screening rules, and document language with qualified counsel.

Which documents can be included?

Typical packets may include a liability waiver, assumption of risk, safety and range-rule acknowledgment, medical or emergency consent, and an optional media release. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and course.
